Whass up Jforce,
I like the general feel of the remix, The main acapella sections fit tight – right on the instrumental……
Holler time…..
The breaks are off for me as the chorus didnt seem to blend between the main pella sections….. The female vocal in the backgound was to off pitch for the tracks vibe….. ( I find you always get that when you play with the BPm on a track with a soulfull artist wailing in the backgound…) On a positive – Production is good as always
Peace
thanks for the input
Smokey jazz club style! Nice, it really switches up the flavour of the original.
The sounds are lush, but that soulful vocal is a bit full on at times.
For me it could have done with more bassline going on, but that’s just a personal taste thing I think (too much dnb probably twisted my ears).
Tight work, really groovy. It’s a big tune to take on ‘cos the original is so widely known and respected, but you did it justice I think and stamped your flavour on it.
Big up.
really appreciate the feedbak thanks
