I’ve thrown together the following…
Busta Rhymes – Woo-Hah!!! (Acapella)
The Fatback Band – Do the Bus Stop

..and I think I’m pretty pleased with it. But, I’ve got no background in sound engineering or music production so please feel free to help out with all the obvious things I’ve probably missed!
A side note on things I’ve missed… when I rendered to disk from Ableton, if I chose ‘normalize’ the volume levels were very low (I’ve posted the not normalized version). Because I’m mashing, does this mean the source material has already been normalized once and I don’t need to do it?
Anyhow, have a listen!

Viper PilotParticipantI’ve received some feedback over at GYBO and from peeps with more musical talent then me, and I’ve cleaned up the track in a couple places that were awkward.
