I’m a cheapo and don’t have paid software yet at this point. So I decided to try using kn0ck0ut in Audacity (both beta and stable) via the VST enabler, to produce an acapella from an instrumental and original track. The result sounds perfect (total removal), BUT, something isn’t working right.
If I select a certain section and apply the kn0ck0ut plugin, and then I play it backincluding some of the track before and after, the timing has shifted slightly. And if I select a large section (the whole track, let’s say), it hiccups/jumps approximately every 15 seconds.
Has anyone else experienced this with kn0ck0ut? If not, is there a free program I can use to apply the kn0ck0ut plugin that won’t give me these types of errors?
Thank you – Coda
