elmatticParticipantI’ll be honest that I dl’d because the name is so fucking hilarious.
I want to be encouraging because I know how much work this took, but also make a few points.
1. Love the illbient track, but the guitar hook sounds kinda cheesy.
2. Needs a better mix–can’t hear the vocals enough.
3. The mix overall sounds kinda scratchy–lot of hiss here.
4. You need to cut the silence at both ends of the track and add ID3 tags–just makes it that little bit more presentable.Post a remix!
Ah, but that’s just me. What do the rest of y’all think? C’mon, give some love to our brothas here inspired by our favorite bouffant-rocking, elevator-shoe-wearing, nuclear-ambition-having, crazy-as-a-shithouse-rat axis-of-evil-livin’ dictator.

SeanzaParticipantThe flow is catchy, I like this guitars but they don’t fit in the hook, use less of it.
This is old skool but new skool at the same time, although the mastering needs worked on as the sound quality is poor.
EDIT: I’m addicted to this song lol, please master itttt!

vhsplayerchrisParticipantI know alot of bands here in New York City with the same sound. The Mathematicians, The Missing Teens, and Project Jenny, Project Jan,(to name a few) all of which I like so I have a bias.
Unfortunately this doesn’t sound that fresh to me and with a name like that, I was expecting something totally different. Perhaps something that played on the humor of the title.
I don’t know, I enjoyed it to a point, but I wasn’t impressed.
Maybe it just needs some work. The comments from Seanza and Elmattic seem to be right on. They witness alot of peoples sucesses and failures on here so I am sure they know what they’re talking about.

Kim Jong IllParticipantThanks for all the comments. To ellmatic, all noted points, saving that that isn’t silence at the beginning and end. It’s a distorted glitch loop. That also makes the song sound scratchy. all done on purpose. we should probably take the guitar down a few notches in the final mix.
Sound quality is a bit poor. This was a late night song write/record session that we lost our audition file on. The bed is still around but we need to redo all the vocals.
We do have a sense of humor (obviously) that comes through in some songs more than others, and pretty much composes the entirety of our live personae.
We will rerecord/mix this down soon and repost for your listening pleasure. Thanks for the great comments!
