themammothParticipantIs there any section on this site that offers more "rock" acapellas than what I’m finding?
Cause I’m going through, looking at all this stuff, and all I’m finding is a plethora of Rap/Hip-Hop tracks, a bunch of trendy overplayed pop tracks, and a few tracks by the only rock groups anyone seems to have ever heard of (ie. Coldplay, The Killers, Muse, and Bloc Party).
I was able to acquire a "Thrice" track and a "Paramore" track, but that seems to be as far as the acapellas on this site have strayed from trendy mainstream radio songs…So yeah, does anyone know where I can get some more acapellas by some more lesser known, sort of underground, not as trendy or popular, rock groups?

ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipantRock acapela’s are pretty rare and mainly DIY.
I guess this is because a lot of bands are very protective of their copyrighted material and rarely have remix packages for tracks.
Dance and pop tracks often have remix packages so the acapella’s are allowed out of the studio.
Your best bet is to try and learn DIY methods or make friends with a producer here and pm them.
But even so your usually gonna need the original instrumental.(Forgot to mention, requesting acapella’s is not allowed on the site as explained in the rules so keep this in mind
)

themammothParticipantThanks, man!
Yeah, I’m pretty good at making instrumentals out of tracks, It’s just the acapellas that I need. So yeah, I’m gonna try to learn how to make my own, I guess.
Also, how do I find a "producer"? Cause I could use any help I can get…AdSense 336x280February 26, 2008 at 11:17 pm #644366
ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipantIm sure you will start to get a feel of who does what if you get involved here.
A good start would be anyone who has written a tutorial.AdSense 336x280 -
