I actually have bothWhat do you mean it lets you do more? As in it allows you to customise everything? Or it gives you features on websites that IE doesn’t?
AdSense 336x280December 24, 2006 at 12:02 am #607670
JuggernautParticipantIt’s true that Firefox is a bit processor hungry (as is Opera).
Dunno what you mean by ‘more gentle lookin” though… Site’s should look the same in both (if not better in Firefox what with it being W3C compliant). if they don’t it’s coz someone’s had to do "hack’s" to the html for IE to display properly.AdSense 336x280December 24, 2006 at 11:28 pm #607845

digitalbongParticipanti use both of them…but FF once deleted all my bookmarks so i don’t trust it that much anymore…got copies of them in ie and in ff…many cases ive noticed ie7 runs even faster than ff but it all depends again what you are browsing etc etc…most of the time i use ie because it suits my needs better…

erictcParticipantI just switched from IE to FF. In my opinion FF can do a lot more fun things and security customizing. FF add-ons rules!

SlodeyParticipantfirefox everytime
internet explorer may have tried to go down the same road ad firefox but it’ll never be as fast or as cpu-friendly.i’ve always found internet explorer a bit of a hog cpu/speed wise.
AdSense 336x280February 19, 2007 at 11:21 am #613609
garyewenParticipantI use internet explorer and firefox.
IE (like most MS software) has many faults… but navigating using firefox, at some point, requires you to use IE, as someone, somewhere has written a site which doesn’t support firefox. I like a combination of both.
I am impressed this post hasn’t become a battle between PCs and Macs… I was expecting it to be when I clicked on it!

XerixParticipantIE is not so bad. I have IE7 and I would say it’s much better than the previous versions. I wouldn’t say any one of those is better but I do use Firefox because it runs faster on my comp than IE
AdSense 336x280February 23, 2007 at 6:19 pm #614163

AdSense 336x280March 7, 2007 at 3:13 pm #615200
mike286ParticipantFor me it has to be firefox.. It handles web pages much better than IE and has loads of extra plugins that in my case help me to debug pages that I am developing.
AdSense 336x280March 18, 2007 at 12:19 pm #616035
SeanzaParticipantDJbacktrack, have you tried Opera? Much faster than both IE & FF. Av never ever liked FF, it’s always been a let down for me!
