I got a question for Production

exactly what effects would I need to use for my vocal to be crisp, clear and and professional.

I suck at production but I cant find someone to help me to produce my music, so im learning little by little. If someone can help me out thatll be great, "ITS FOR HIP HOP MUSIC"….the effects I used were resampling, volume, amplify,smooth/enhance..I smoothen it bcuz enhancing the sound makes it sound like the vocals are "live"..
…then last I use wavehammer to basically compress the sound. Is this good enough? or is there more I need to know
O yeah I also save the verses and chorus together as a mp3 and reload it and add equalization to cover up the sound between the instrumental and the vocals.
