But surely, if you clone a track, reverse the phase (giving a total audible silence) changing
the EQ on the clone track would only give the reverse affect on the overall sound.
In other words, taking just the original track and giving a + instead of a – db with the same
Q would give exactly the same effect. On a 2nd note, I replied in length to this post and it is not here!
Maybe I did something silly like not hit ‘submit’ before closing my browser?
(It has been known that I do stupid things!)To cut a long story short, it gonna be difficult to adjust the original track to make
an instrumental and then use that to phase reverse.
The only way to get a genuinly good instrumental is using the phase reverse method.
If you then apply this to the original track, you are just ‘re-reversing’ the phase.
Ive not tried, but my basic knowledge of audio tells me this is never gonna work! The only other way round it would be to make the ‘1 channel reverse’ track into a
a sum mono track, do the same with the original track, then combine the 2.
To be honest, im far too pi$$ed to work out what results this would give.
Give it a go, if it woks call me a genius and the inventor of a new technique.I doubt thats gonna happen tho!!
May I also do a quick shout out to Hardee’s, I just finished a beautiful burger from
them.
If you have a Hardee’s in your county, give it a try, fast delivery too![Edit: I got really bad hiccups now, dont eat Hardee’s while laying in bed]

I would’ve tried that first
