now i hope i posted up my best idea (i had six of them) and i finally chose this one coz i love the beat. another weird pella choice, and a difficult one to time properly, but where would the fun and challenge be in providing an easy acapella, am i right.

Not necessarily. I respect the track, it’s mad good. I’d probably vote for it, that or Blow. I really like Blow’s mix too. The others are good, but not as good as those two in my humble opinion. But let’s be serious here. Who is the audience? The voters aren’t a big group of DJs, they are listeners. If you think you can assemble a big group of general listeners, remixers and producers and then find a majority sub group that really likes Crunk you’re crazy. Similarly, if you were to run 2 votes, one for DJs and one for Joe Blow public you’d get different results too. To the end listener it’s all about the finished product, not your DJ skills or how incredibly smooth your transitions between beats are.

That having been said, I don’t think Shotyme or Blow’s track is really crunk. The pella is crunk but that’s about where it ends. The tracks all have wicked beats, but none with an overly crunk feel to it if you ask me.

Anyhoo, I just thought I’d remind you to consider the audience.
