Hello guys, I pray for help.
I’ve got some pretty interesting material in 5.1 sound and as I did with my HP, would like to separate the different channels from the audio.
I used one with the HP called "DVD Audio Extractor", and it did the job well.
It extracted the audio portion of the file and then split each channel into a separate wav.
Unfortunately, for Mac I’ve only found standard DVD audio rippers that just rip the sound to stereo, with no option to separate the channels.
Any software for Mac you know that extracts and separates the channels from 5.1 DVD you know?

If you play it in an external DVD player, and hook it up as either 6 physical audio connections or over SPDIF, I’m pretty sure you could use Logic to capture the discrete audio channels seperately.
Or something like Roxio Crunch may let you copy from a disc and seperate the audio track. You’d have to check with them for confirmation.
