Our inner child is our most beloved friend when it comes to creativity. I want to share something I observed my 2 year old daughter doing a couple of months ago while she was playing with the kitchen sink faucet. She would let the water run through her hands as if it was something new to her when it wasn’t. I tried it myself and I realized why she was stuck there; she was experiencing the water caress her tiny hands. It was very relaxing to her and I thought how sad it is how we loose those small sensations in this wicked world. Rules and social norms narrow our creativity spectrum and we need to keep it alive by looking for that inner child.
