laidback1978Participanti like this program alot but theres one thing i cant figure out how to do. i like to blend acapellas and instrumentals together and like to record them. my problem is after i record a set together. i want to take that same recording and add another recording ontop of it like another acapella or sample. somehow when i take a recorded peice from tracktor and try to record it again wit something else it doesnt come out. anyone know what i mean and could help me with this problem???

laidback1978Participantthat stinks I kinda of liked using the program since it was pretty easy to use but if i cant make recordings I think im gonna have to start to look else where. any one know of any other good programs that i could use to record and mix my pellas and instrumentals ?

acheadKeymastercheck the specs to be sure, Tracktor is a pretty demanding package. But you can also try ( if your using tracktor 2.5 ) to deactivate the time stretching, and move to a lower quality sound.
Keep in mind though that it may also be your sound card config that bottlenecks the sound. I had some problems in the early day’s when I had some wacky ASIO drivers installed.
So get the newest drivers from your soundcard manufacturer.HTH

excelentsParticipantI’m DJ’ing using Traktor DJ Studio 2.5.1 from my Laptop with a 1Ghz CPU and 128mb of RAM and It works a treat no problems, as I’ve only Just bought the Laptop I shall be upgrading the various parts but at the moment It works Just fine and dandy
