Kelis ft. Too Short – Bossy instrumental/acapella (diy )
Nelly ft. Slim Thug – Grillz instrumental
Rick Ross ft. Jay Z – Boss Remix

There are plenty of unfinished areas but it’s done enough for you to get the idea.
Listen and let me know what works, what doesn’t, what needs to be added or subtracted, etc.

There are few more "Boss" related songs (one is by Luda) which I’d like to incorporate but this track is already too long: What do you think?

it’s not your mix i think you got much skillz….but there’s nothing you can do to
make bossy move me whats so ever…

bossy reminds me of that track dude was trying to get vanity to play in last dragon…its an insult to hiphop and r&b…

once again good work on your mix….

Hmm, I think you’ve done a good job, but I struggle to like it, if you know what I mean.

If you add more pieces to it, you may or may not find that it’s too long. You then have to decide what’s making it too long and doing something about it i.e. taking sections out, until it doesn’t sound too long, if you catch my drift.

not a big fan of kelis either but i still really like this track. song is kinda long but no major complaints. Nice Job!

great feedback! thanks yall.

i’ll make some adjustments. I think what i’m hearing is- it’s a good mix for the sake of a mix, rather than for the sake of music.

you totally misunderstood me….

it has nothing to do with your mix….mix is great….

bossy is a sorry r&b record ….i’m oldschool i like real music….
i compared it to what went on in a movie called the last dragon…..when vanity was a video dj and wouldn’t play a record….i compared the bossy record to that….

nothing bad to say about you what so ever…..

I dug this mix and although I’m not soo much into this style of hip hop I kinda enjoyed the roughness of this work in progress. It kinda balanced out the complexity of all these different elements going really well together and then there were these almost choatic moments that end up coming together nicely.

I was feelin it.
