DJ ValParticipantFor all those wanting to become dj’s and are looking for some guidence. This post is for you.
I have managed to find some video tutorials from basic infromation up to the art of scratching. But remember most talent comes from the pure love of music!Great basic tuorial from using turntables, cd players to the art of finding the bpm.
Great tutorial compiled by DJ Brady Williams. For the past 10 years DJ Brady Williams has rocked clubs from Tampa to San Francisco with his unique mixing abilities. His recent 7 year residency in the midwest club circuit coupled with a love of breakbeat, house, and trance music has won him a devoted following. In 2003 he decided to take his career to the next level by co-founding 328 Studios in Wilmore, KY where he currently produces his own flavor of electronic dance music.Tutorial from introduction to the turntable to the art of scratching with vinyl.
This tutorial was compiled by Corey Black aka the Turntabalist. Corey Black aka the Turntabalist has been working as a DJ for over 15 years. He first became interested in being a DJ at a local family gathering and his interest just grew from there. Corey has over 30 different scratches in his arsenal and has mastered the crab scratch, chirps, and scribbles to name a few things.tutorial features 18 videos from Equipment, Beats & Vinyl Scratching Techniques. The videos have been compiled by Dj Colione. Dj Colione has been Djing professionally for over 6 years. He plays predominantly hip hop, top 40, R&B, funk & soul, 80s, and disco. He has worked with such artists as Snoop Dogg, K-OS, The Rascalz, and more. He has DJ’ed across Canada and the United States for night clubs, dance conventions, and b-boy events. You can currently catch DJ Colione playing in various nightclubs around Los Angeles.
Thanks go to DJ Brady Williams, Corey Black, Dj Colione and for compiling and hosting the videos
