brapkoParticipantOk.. this guy’s been around for a while.
Started off on some Galactic ish with "Deltron 3030" (which is an insane album).
After that, he changed his name to "Del Tha Funky Homosapien" releasing some more commercial type of stuff.
Now he’s the main rapper of the Gorrillaz. As far as i go, this man has to be the best freaking rapper i’ve heard in a while. Not only does he bring up stuff that no other rapper would think of, but the lyrics, rhyme scheme, and flow just blow almost all other rappers out of the water.
Am i alone in this thought?
If you’ve actually listened to him let me know your thoughts.
Don’t respond if you just heard the "Clint Eastwood" song or "Feel Good Inc."AdSense 336x280January 25, 2008 at 3:26 am #641947

Whenever i hear rap in Gorrillaz he is usually the main one, but me hearing Gorrillaz isn’t a lot these days. As far as i know, 3030 was the only solo one under that name. Look up "Both Sides of the Brain". There’s a few others.. i’d say u could google them.

_JakeParticipantNooo you’ve got his biography all wrong. He started his career with Ice Cube and Da Lench Mob who produced his first album around 1992.
He then went on to release 2 more albums before meeting Dan Tha Automator (of Dr.Octagon fame) who he teamed up with to release Deltron 3030, in the same year (2000) he released his latest solo album Both Sides of the Brain.
His affiliation with dan landed him the 2 raps he performed on the Gorrilaz’s first album.
He is now working on his next album "The 11th Hour" which he has been learning "Music Theory" to improve his beat making skills – which is why its taking so long. Expect it to be out this year.
Del is a "big word" rapper, and probably the best (well, my fav). If you like Deltron3030 you should check out Dr.Octagon, and wait for Deltron Event 2 this year. Glad you like him hes dope as fuck.
