Hey Folks,
I have been trying to create some acapellas with Cubase SX. I have been using the phase cancelation method. But I haven’t been able to get anything usable. Is there a plugin or another method that I could use to make my brain not hurt so much. Or maybe i’m doing the phase reverse thing wrong?
1. get 2 waves on two diff. tracks.
2. phase reverse one track
3. subtract center channel from that track
4. merge it (mono)
5. make the other track mono
6. listen to tracks
7. feel dissapointment
Any help would be much appreciated!
