godeboyParticipantHi all I am currently compiling a Acapella CD / DJ tools CD to use with house music. Currently the Track list reads…
Put your hands up in the air (Trevor and Simon)
Put your hands up for detroit
Technology (Daft Punk also used by Buster Rhyms)
harder faster Stronger better (Daft Punk)
monday night to the club tuesday night to the club… (Spankox)
It’s like that (Run DMX) DJ tool not acapella
Sweet dreams (Bad quality acapella)
Sexy back (Bad quality)
PUsh it (Salt n Peper, Very short)Adding Woomp there it is (Tag Team) and Shiny Disco Balls once I can find them about.
My question is are there any more acapellas that I’ve missed out. I’m thinking commercialy know tracks people would know. Not to underground. I think the track list above gives you an idea of what i’m after.
In advance thanks fo your help.

godeboyParticipantmrjynx I don’t think you quite gut the idea of what i’m trying to do. I just wanted peoples opinons and recomendations. I’m not trying to "get through my career asking people what to play" or make money from other peoples hard work. I don’t know what it is about my post that made you think I was. You’v jumped to allot of conclusions. Chill out I belived this was a site for discusing music with a focus on acapellas and you’ve baiscally had a go at me for doing just that. It was supossed to be a fun helpful topic for discusion nothing more.
DJ Michele I just put the list down quickley in lay mans terms. I’ll ashume people know what ther talking about i future sorry

anisinaParticipantAwwwwwwww, have you 2 kissed and made up already?
godeboy, don’t worry to much how things come across, we are used to more of the bad variety here (1 posters etc..) rather than the good you have proved to be to date.
jynx, I still love you, don’t take our break up to hard.

DJ LevantParticipantgodeboy, yeah be sure to check out the acapella list particularly the vocal one-shots…
Heres a few Dance/House not on your list that u might like…Mylo – Drop the Pressure
Paffendorf – Where Are You
TV Rock – Flaunt It
Technotronic – Pump Up The Jam
Klubbheads – SamplesAdSense 336x280January 10, 2007 at 9:10 pm #609500
BognorBootleggersParticipantIndeep – Last Night A DJ Saved My Life
Madonna – Music
Beastie Boys – Ch Check It Out ???
(maybe other beasties too like body movin’)I know its not that well known yet but works well with lots of things:
Princess Superstar – Perfect
and also
666 – Rhythm Takes Control
Can work well
Theres good samples out there to like the old ”you are now about to witness the strength of street life” and ”i know your gonna dig this” cant remember where there from but there on lots of dj tools things. Also Norman Cook released a DJ Tools thing once that had a nice copy of ”This is jam hot” as in the sample he used for beats international (and its not in the acapella or at least not without drums if i remember correctly) maybe that could be an acapella to use too.
EDIT:
You could also try
Missy Elliot – Get Your Freak On

godeboyParticipantReally happy with the sugestions so far, infact I’m quite exited as I got a fantastic reaction from what I’ve compiled myself.
For the record I’ve added…
-Groove is in the heart, B52s
-Wheres your head at, bassment jaxx
-Shiny disco balls
-Tag team, woomp there it is
and a AIR HORN SFX (yeah baby it’s all about the air horn ha ha)Keep the ideas flowing plus learn how to use a Pioneer mixer! Been processing the acapellas with the onboard effects and it really adds something major to the mix. The crowd love it
p.s. anisina I think me and mrjynx have made up. yes, yes.
