challenge! late 80’s / early 90’s acid-house styled pop song

as the title says, I am looking for a (i think) late 80’s early 90’s pop/acid-house song i heard some time a go on youtube.

it features a very typical acid style bassline and beat through entire song, and has tempo and feel of an acid-house song.

but it features a pop styled vocal on top. MALE singer. giving it a more pop song vibe.

in the music video he is wearing linen style pants and a big linen type shirt (hippie-ish style). and he is standing on different rock formations, and desert like landscapes. maybe some grassy stuff in between. doing white-suburban-dad-dance moves.

I really don’t know if it was like a big hit or anything.

Know this is not a lot to go by. but the song has a sweet vocal track i would really like to slow down and make a laidback electronic song from..

IF anybody gets this, I would be massively impressed!
