djhale407ParticipantHey whats up everyone. I do great deal of producing and djing. Now i have been a loyal customer to my local record store for years but have recently started to hit a point where my taste has out grown what they can provide me. Or maybe a more honet twist is that I want to play records out that no other local dj in orlando can get there hands on.
I have found a number of sites that provide records with the import sound i am looking for but they are all over seas. The shipping costs are outrageous and my credit card company hits me with a 30 dollar charge every time they have to convert my currency from dollars to pounds or euros or what ever.
The short of it is does anyone know a good online store providing good import breaks and house that is located in and ships from the states ? I get into alot of electro house, disco house, and progressive breaks.
Any help would certianly be apreciated.

JuggernautParticipantOrlando…i’m surprised all the DJ’s around there aren’t importing stuff like crazy?! maybe look for other record shops and see how they’re like at importing stuff.
I know when i go home to Atlanta i’ve got about 5 or 6 record shops i hassle the hell out of to get imports i may have missed when i’m here (*points at england*) i’m sure if you have a word with a few they may be able to sort you out although you’ll still need to pay quite a bit more what with handling, exchange etc.
I know there are a few US (or canada) based sites that deal with what you’re looking for, i’ll have a butchers later today or tomorrow and see if i can find some links. I’m sure someone else will come up with a few and help ya out..
Good luck anyway!

JuggernautParticipantso go to another site (like juno.co.uk) preview what you want, remember or write down the names go back to another more ‘local’ site and *bosch* there you go, done and dusted.
