LuminanceParticipantlol. I swear acapella, I’m not trying to be a trouble maker
All of the songs show this for the BPM:

Any thoughts?

Plenty:)
a) you have a customised browser which hides the data
b) we have a bug in our code which isn’t showing the data for posters >-50 posts
c) something else.Please provide a screenshot.
Cheers.

Thanks.
I’ve lost track of what this all stemmed from now – was it BPM or PREVIEW related? Anyways i’ll answer both.
The information for BPM is there. It clearly says BPM: – meaning we don’t hold any BPM information for that file. I would encourage you to double check several other files first ASWELL as using the Browse Artists option which will show you a column of the BPM data.
As far as the previews go, well, there’s a white flash button saying PREVIEW on it, just click it twice to get the stream flowing through yer speakers.
Regards,
acapella

fazParticipant[quote quote="acapella":2ihpm65x]define:bpm – beats per minute, the unit of measure that defines the tempo of music.
This is an Exclusive enhancement made to ACAPELLAS4U – the bpm data is only a vailable to ‘Special’ members – who have mande donations to support what we do here and to members with what we consider to be a half-decent post count.
Thanks to the amazing FREE BPM Analyzer tool from our friends at and Taner (Freelancer PHP/MySQL) we’ve been able to carry out this much sought-after request from our members.
Hope you all enjoy this new addition.

acapella.[/quote:2ihpm65x]
Defo a nifty addition however I have never understood how beneficial this is. What benefits does knowing the BPM give? Why do you need to know the BPM in order to make a remix or any type of production? It baffles me! I have had 4 commercial releases in my time and have never needed anything like this, that is the whole point of specific software. If peppes need this then what type of cheap, basic software are they using????????

gfab33Participantwhere is this bpm information???
AdSense 336x280July 10, 2008 at 8:58 am #653199
gfab33Participantstupid post above… sorry I didnt read first. dumbass. Figured out where the bpm info is thanks. And is it 100% accurate?

acheadKeymasteri personally find that the easiest way of finding a pella’s bpm is to first find the bpm of the actual track using your software of choice and then manually setting the bpm of the pella to match the track.

MikaileParticipantthis is REALLY helpful, thanks guys
i guess this will come in extra handy for those hard to nail chorus lines on a few pellas. not always able to tell where the perfect placement on the sequencer should be.
Much Love

SupitsemParticipantMany might find this helpful (sorry if someone already posted this):
http://www.all8.com/tools/bpm.htmits a manual bpm counter, so there will be clearly be some error in terms of specificity, but i find it to be a quick an efficient way of determining bpms
