Having said that, I DO like this one – it’s a keeper for me because I like both sources, and IMO the slower ‘mental gives the hitherto frenetic Beasties track a great kicked-back groove (a bit like "Hey Ladies", maybe, but smoother like rukus said). Apart from that, the timing is perfect and the sound quality is top rate, too, and I reckon this could easily pass for a remix!

I felt this was one of the better mashes I’d submitted to you-know-where, only for reviews to be shut down days after.

Yeah, I know what you mean about Rap (or RnB and Hip-hop) mashes. Unless its cross-genred (in my opinion) then it’s rap-by-numbers or jigsaw-rap, most of it fits together with a high percentage of other material.

Was an accidental mash really, I was beat-mapping a lot of my instrumentals and acapellas and played these both together and liked the ‘horn-stab’ nature of both tracks and with a bit cut n paste it just worked.

I’m quite pleased someone does like it tho, really appreciate you downloading, commenting AND liking the mash .
