Hello,

I’ve been trying to record a mix using Audacity 1.2.5 (latest intel version) on my Intel mac but it either crashes after about 30 mins or starts not refreshing the wave display thing, so i don’t know whether its crashed or just messing around, sometimes ill quit and find out its been recording just not displaying it -rage-. Does anyone else have these probs? Can anyone suggest a stable freeware recording program?
I got logic express but that only allows 15min recordings (is this diif in the Pro btw?)

In my experience Audacity is great for short pieces of audio but so so good for long mixes.
I prefer Logic to record my mixes which gives you a lot more freedom to mess around with it afterwards. And the safety factor is ramped up a lot too as I found Audacity suddenly crashing at the most inopportune moments. (CMD & S!!)
