Interface wise, I have a Focusrite Sapphire. For the money I really do rate it. Sounds awesome, plenty of outputs.
I have just sent it back for them to look at though. Mine has power supply issues (lots of noise on the headphone outs when the power supply and firewire are conencted at the same time), as well as slewing playback under Windows XP. But in daily use with my macbook, it has been rock solid.Their customer service is ace as well. They rang me months ago to remind me to send it to back after I rang and booked it in but didn’t send. The warranty officially ran out yesterday, but I rang them today and they said they’d still take it for repair.

FunkMobParticipantI use a Mac Book Pro with an MBox 2 Pro, Axiom 49 Midi Keyboard, Two Rok IT 5 inch Monitors, Two Tecnics and a numark mixer, I also got an AKG condenser mic in my closet used as a sound booth. I love using Pro Tools with Reason through Rewire, works great.

151095ParticipantI’m using the EMU 0404 USB. I think it’s a great, but simple, interface. A great detail is the built-in MIDI to USB converter!
