Looking to buy a nice bass but no idea what to get as this is my first bass guitar. Looks of the instrument are not important to me, im interested in sound quality of the pickups and ease of playing as its gonna be recorded for use on my tracks.

Any help would be appreiciated on recommendations.

i use http://www.sweetwater.com for all of my purchases. but i’m not sure if they ship worldwide. if they do i recomend any of their products

I’ve got a yamaha BB604, and I can highly recommend it!

Sounds great and looks very nice too, even though you said that didnt matter

<shameless self promotion> You can hear a little bit on the track in my signature from about 2 minutes onwards. </shameless self promotion>
Im no genius I’ll admit but It sure beats most bass Vsts!
