VoicedudeParticipantIntended this originally to be exactly what it says: a ‘party starter’. I did a test version of this on NYE at the Edgewater in Laughlin. It got a pretty good reaction. BIG intro along with a nice warm up….
Here it is, along with a ‘faster’ version that some had requested on the another site. I now think the sped up version works better.
"Party Starter"
Download or stream them both from HERE:
http://musicbuilder.net/music/bands/1128/"Get This Party Started" – Pink [vox]
"Let’s Get It Started" – Black Eyed Peas [traxx]plus, surprise cameos from:
Alan Parsons Project – "Sirius" [synths]
Edie Brickell – "What I Am" [guitar riffs & solos]
….and many more! The last track on the site will cost you two minutes for two guys you’ve probably never heard of……but it’ll be worth it.
The night I saw "Brokeback Mountain" I immediately mashed it’s lush theme with an acapella vocal from another movie, Baz Luhrman’s "Romeo + Juliet".
A + B.
It took about an hour.
Kinda like Lens Crafters!"Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)" by Quindon Tarver
vs.
"Brokeback Mountain (Theme)" by Gustavo Santaolalla"Everybody’s Free On Brokeback Mountain"
Download or stream it also from HERE:
http://musicbuilder.net/music/bands/1128/Comments are always appreciated,
and I would really like input from play-out DJs on "Party Starter" as well…Cheers!

DJ LevantParticipantHey Voicedude, This is a great remix. I loved the varied use of vocals and styles. Everything seems to go so well together.
