PylonParticipantHi everyone, we have been working on the idea of chavs vs goths and have made four finished tracks. We would really like people to feedback on our creations – so all comments welcome! The first track is 50 cent (Lil’ Bit) and Marilyn Manson (Sweet Dreams). This was created in Logic 7 on a G5 Mac. Look forward to hearing what you guys think.

PylonParticipantCheers for feeding back abp1985 – to your question we made this track (and a few others) just before becoming members of this site. This track has been made from the two original tracks with a lot of cutting, tempo changing, rearranging and processing (also added a drum track).

Would be interesting to hear this one without the lil bit beat.

There are a couple of points, these may not be valid due to only listening to an mp3 version and not the original version.The 50c track is a bit too loud in the intro especially when the MM track starts with the Sweet Dreams vox.
Also with the opening guitar riff being primarily in the left channel would it work to duplicate the track and invert it so that the guitar appears to be full stereo?
It also seems that the version of Sweet Dreams is distorting alot when the may track kicks in and that puts a minor crimp on listening to it as the 2 tracks work so well together.
Finally the switch at 3m21s sounds a bit odd but comes back well with the beat.Overal an inspired mash up which receives 2 thumbs up from me

owen420Participantive listened to this track quite a few times now, and bumped it to everybody, i have to say man it is probably the best mash-up i have ever heard on here, like strickly professional, i didnt think about it but these beats are pretty much that same and colide welll, i love that logic shit, but i hate mac argh i cant wait till version 8 comes out for windows… anyways, dude this is deff acapellas4u mixtape material and i think it should be on the next mixtape, only probs with the track ive noticed… is that you must be using headphones (cause on there it sounds real good) but on a big digital system, it isnt perfect, you need to drop the trebal a bit if possible, and crank and acapella a bit more (mostly near the end)… but other then that its perfect and like ive heard some good ones on here, badattitude if deffenitally up there with u. keep doin your shit , i wanna hear more, but put it in the hip-hop forum, you will get way more respect!!
