acheadKeymasterHey all,
This is the third song taken from my latest mixtape titled "A+B".
This track is a mix of 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G. and DMX over the Lloyd Banks track "When The Chips Are Down".
I originally made this track in 2006 but am just getting around to releasing my past work.
Feedback is as always very much appreciated, as long as it’s honest.
I hope you enjoy the track, let me know your thoughts on it.
Peace!

acheadKeymasterIt kinda sucks to have quite a few downloads and no feedback, but i guess that’s the way it goes sometimes.
Thanks all who listened to the track, hope you liked it!
Peace!

BuBaParticipantHey SE7EV,
This one nice mix here. What I most like about it is that it sounds like good soundtrack song
The beginning reminds me on the Sin City movie. Or any action movie
What i want to know is if this beat is yours cause its very nice?
Ps: I still enjoy listening to your LL Cool J mix Hush!

SeanzaParticipantSE7EN!! Holy poo! It was so quiet at the beginning so I cranked it up, and then it kicked up, I’m pretty sure I levited off my seat with fear! Don’t EVER do that again, I have a dodgy ticker!
Mixed feelin’s about this one, something’s not right, I think it’s the beat, I never liked the original track.
Damn man, I feel all uneasy now!

AnonymousInactiveI’m really wondering that nobody have mentioned this, but 2Pac’s verse is totally off bar (not off beat, don’t mix them!), you have to start the pella after the first drum, so after the bar begins. The rest is alright, but please fix Pac’s part, it hurts my ears.

Thanks everybody for your feedback, i really appreciate your comments and will do my best to return the favor on all of your tracks.
Peace!

GMoneyParticipantI had he same comments about being off bar when I did my Twerkulator mix for that competition awhile ago. Having never heard the original, I didn’t know any better and to be honest, I preferred it the way I had it arranged.
I think it sounds hot and again, having not heard this 2pac verse before it sounded spot on to me. I think sometimes working with beats and/or acapellas that you’ve not heard before, or don’t know the originals actually enables you to be more creative. You have no pre-concieved notions about how the track should work what-so-ever so it’s up to you, to interperet as you please.
I love this mix man, the vibes from each track you put together work really well together. Conjures up images of some badass gangsta’ fight scenes…. or some wannabe gangsta tryin’ to play it cool.
(think office space, that guy with the firebird and the rap music)
Tight mix, top notch. A+++++ (sorry, too much ebaying lately)
