So many pages on this thread, I haven’t read through them all, however, I have a suggestion on creating acapellas (Forgive me if it has been suggested like I said)
my Surround system has various ‘Surround Sensation’ options, and Dolby Surround options (Pro Logic, Pro Logic II, VS, XD etc) and one of them pulls the vocals out to the centre channel perfectly, if I unplug the centre channel I get just an instrumental, and unplugging the other channels, gives me just an accapella..
I know this will be using the AMP’s hardware to process the track in ways similar to how people have posted on here, but this will really save lots of time,
i’ll soon be hooking my System up so I can record the acapella, or instrumental of any track I want, I’ll let you all know how it goes once I have done some testing to find the best setting and levels, then i’ll be churning them out like crazy
