If you have a real instrumental you should be very happy!
Because then you just have to match them up (it MUST be very exactely – the more the better) and invert the acapella (that means you invert the amplitude of the sound wave) – in FL there is an option ‘reverse polarity’, dunno if in logic there is something else – so the instrumental will remove itself from the original and leave the acapella (in theory…).
Or you just use "knockout" or "kn0ckout" which is a free vst plugin – you should be able to in logic i think – and remove the instrumental with it.
I don’t know why i wrote this, you can read it dozen times here in the forum and probably know it already, but if not, you do now^^
However, if you did it as told above you shoud receive a more or less good acapella, but it doesn’t make any sense to me that only the hihats remain, they should probably be the same in the instrumental as in the original… Are u sure you matched them up really exactely (zoom in A LOT)?
