In FL, for my uplifting trance songs, I usually use 40-50 patterns. I remember one time I used over 100 patterns for a song when I was a noobie. I try to use less to make more now.

Who said i see waveforms. I listen to them, but see were the topic could be helpful.
Labeling sequencer tracks is cool n sometimes i put them in a preffered order.

Dont think screen shot should tell ya, if you put in a spectrum analizer it should be the shape of a diamond as that is how the freq should project out of the speakers

i hate looking to my songs aspect!!

when i listen to them while i look the patterns, i feel like my music is shit.

but then if i listen to my music and look another way it seems to be a better song (maybe im crazy? )

I Understand what you are refering to, but in terms of Audio and specifically, audio waveforms, such a tool is impossible.

Consider the fact that an acapella can be extracted from a wave form, through Inverting tracks, with out actually changing the waveform itself.

Frequencies of music co-exists in what we refer to as waveforms and graphical representations of such.

Nice thought, but not relasitic

i like seeing the sequencer patterns. screenshots like that pump me up to produce music on my own… the same way surfers like to watch people surf, and skaters like to watch people skate. studio musicians can listen to music, but to learn new tricks, you gotta get as close to "watch" someone make music as possible.

i like the idea of sharing screenshot. big ups.

I think as long as you know whats going on its all goodd… when you cant even figure out what tracks are which, then you kinda put a damper on your work flow.
