mark_h_elektrasoulParticipantive recently installed windows xp on my pc and since doing so wavelab doesnt run.
when the program starts i get “Please enter original wavelab cd” errors. i put the original cd in but keep on getting the same errors. the program then crashes out.
ive tried to run wavelab in “Windows xp compatibility” mode but still the same errors appear.
help!!!
the code i have is for win 95-98. does anyone know a code for wavelab 2.0 that would run in win xp or is there a patch i could download and install that would fix this problem?
cheers!

acapellaKeymasterIf you do own this software legally then I’d seriously suggest you upgraded for a start as version 5’s out now and I’m using it.
As far as I’m aware XP wouldn’t even have been in the “Recommended Specs” when version 2 was around as it wasn’t even out.
However .. if this is a pirated version then you should’ve read our post on the UGN forums a little closer cus we don’t talk about WAREZ here

acapellaKeymasterCool – glad you were ok with that (hate those kinda moments)
I pressume you’ve had a good ol’ search around Steinberg’s forums for specific troubleshooting issues with Wavelab etc etc ?
