Usher – Burn (4X4 Orley Remix)

A tune i made using an acapella from Ushers "Burn" and a sick 4×4 bassline.

Yeah, i know how you feel, it took me a long time to work out the bass.

I use fruity loops, the Ts404 synth. I use up to about 2 or 3 different ones, depending on how much variation your looking for. Set the attack up high, bit of decay, so you get a triangle shape, take away the rel completely.

On the filter leave abit of the cut, and set the envelope 3/4 and the res about 3/4.

Mess it about to get the sound your looking for.

The key really is the piano roll, put it to a low note, then put the filter freq as low as possible to get the right sound.
