junoParticipantSince we’re all sort of anonymous here – Who would you vote for as the next US president? I would very much like to hear what all you peeps in other countries think also. Kerry or Bush?
I think i’m gonna vote Bush myself – Kerry doesnt seem like a strong leader.

ProcleusParticipantFor me its the lesser of two evils. Really though, I’ll get excited about voting when this country is a democracy. In a way it is, if you consider we vote for corporations with our dollars. Hell, at least Kerry served in the military and whether he coked his head out or not, you can’t tell so much, unlike with other Nazi families.

acheadKeymasterI sometimes wonder why anyone would vote for Bush ……What has he Done??????
AdSense 336x280September 10, 2004 at 8:50 pm #566526
acheadKeymasterIf he’s not on vacation…then he’s on the campaign trail….. I would feel a lot better if he was running the country from the white house and not from Crawford or Kennybunkport or from a campaign bus…

aaj2006ParticipantAs a non-american, i personally think they are both a couple of fuken idiots. i couldnt care less who wins because it wont affect me, but if i had to, i wouldnt vote. its as simple as that. if you dont like either of them, you shouldnt have to vote for the one you hate less.
AdSense 336x280September 10, 2004 at 10:50 pm #566528
acheadKeymasterI’m gonna vote for the less racist ,less hypocritical , less imperialistic , less war mongering , less ignorant son of a bitch !!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerry is panzy-ass purple heart thief and does not seem like a strong enough leader. Bush is not the reason why these terrorist hate America and not doing anything about this terroristic acts wont solve anything. America is far from the only country that has to deal with terroristic actions. I didnt want this question to turn into a heated debate – i just want to know peoples opinions – especially what people in other countries think about the situation. even though it doesnt directly effect some of you guys – i think that indirectly, it does

[/quote:17id7c19]yes the re-election of this murdering imbecile does affect the whole world and I for one find it really sad that there are still people in America who have not seen through his lies .. still I blame that on your media for not giving you the whole truth

junoParticipantopinions respected CJ and ULTRA396…….but its still the same reason i keep hearing – basically vote Kerry just because he’s not Bush.
Also, you have to look at old and present business relations between counties to clear up where they are coming from in these issues – any country relies on supplies and profits from other countries and things get sour when things interfere with that.

Corruption from the extreme heights – unbelieveable really but that’s how it is it seems, EVEN in the government.

acheadKeymasterI’m Voting for Nader , cause I don’t wan’t to see him left out of the political process . 😯
AdSense 336x280September 14, 2004 at 6:45 am #566549
MelParticipantLeave it to Mel to piss on some parades…
Okay, first off, I don’t think Ralph Nader exists. Of course as a human, but sure not as an official candidate. I believe his votes will somehow “filter,” if you will, to Bush’s poll count.
As for Bush, he gets my vote. He needs to clean up the dirt he has dropped. I personally don’t care for him a lot, but its only right to stick him BACK into office so he can make amends for his country that he claims to love so. But of course, we all know he’ll start some more stuff. I don’t think things will ever get better. The end is nigh!

acheadKeymasterIwas just kidding about Nader and I hope you were kidding about sticking Bush back in for 4 more .God help us all if he gets 4 more to piss off the few people who aren’t already pissed.I really think he will get back in just because Armegeddon can’t kick off properly if he dosn’t f*#k things up worse than he has already .I can’t wait!!!!!! 😯
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 3:57 am #566572
MelParticipantI’m not kidding, my friend! Bush needs to get elected. And like you said, the end can’t get cracking unless more things get screwed up. It’s got to happen.
To quote 2Pac…
“Now Bush can’t stop the hit, I predicted the sh-t, in 2Pacalypse! And for once I was down with n—-s. Felt good in the hood being around the n—s, yeah!. And for the first time everybody let go! And the streets was death row! I wonder if heaven got a ghetto!”
Man, 2Pac was DEFINITELY before his time. That song PROVES IT! But that’s another topic.
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 1:18 pm #566577
junoParticipantIF Kerry is elected instead of Bush I really dont think its gonna help the situations goin on with terrorists and the foriegn opinions on the US. These terrorists are radicals – they dont give a f*ck who the President is. Bush was in power for less than a year B4 the 9/11 stuff – think these guys cooked up the idea and trained those terrorists in that short amount of time? Man, i was looking at an article yesterday that said that the US military death toll alone in IRAQ is up to 1000 comparing that to 2700+ casualities from the 9/11 stuff.
But personally – i think these bastards should go down and if it were any more serious than it is, i would enlist myself! this isnt PC, but any damned country/organization/religious group that supports its members to blow themselves and others up should feel the full wrath (this is where me and Bush see eye to eye). i’m not over there and i dont know exactly what these peeps are thinking but from here, i fully support military action. if my friends serving in IRAQ are living through this stuff and still support Bush, that only strengthens my opinion that this is the right thing to do. and if it isnt, then damn us all. but like said – the End will happen and it can happen more than one way!!
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 1:29 pm #566578
MelParticipantMan, I don’t know if everybody supports Bush! My second cousin just came home from Iraq. And boy is he screwed in the head! He was telling me that everytime he hears a loud noise, he grabs his gun and starts cursing because he can’t deal with it. He also told me that it takes everything he’s got to keep from yelling at his wife. He said that while he was over there, he felt as if he would never see his family again, and even called his sister and told her that he felt as if he was going to lose his mind if he spent another day over there. He’s only 25 years old.
Juno, my friend. Some of that “support” could just be souped up for the media–to make people like you and I believe that we should be for military action. The truth is, none of this would be going on if Bush got elected the first time. The whole war is only about natural resources and one man’s greed and ego. So yeah, stick him back into office and MAKE him clean this mess up. Nobody else should have to do it, unless they wanted to. Hell, I’d do a better job at being the US President than Bush. One thing about it, I know how to make peace with people.

junoParticipantIts a double-edged sword – can go either way
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 6:50 pm #566584
acheadKeymasterRead Carefully Guys…..Despite all the speculation….. 911 happened on Bush’s watch . I don’t care if the cells were in place for decades…..the attack happened on his watch and he and his administration was responsible for the safety of the american people. They can blame it on Clinton or whoever else they would like … but it happened on his watch….I served in the Army and the first rule is Safety First…..He and his gang of thugs could care less before 911 about terrorism and despite multiple warnings…. they let it happen on their watch……Clinton thwarted several attemps because his admin. made terrorism a priority unlike the Bush admin.I think him being president did have something to do with it happening. The way he and his gang dealt with the rest of the world and the blatant disrespect he showed for other Countries, governmentas and people made the terrorists decide to execute the attack despite how long they were in place. This is the result of thugs telling the rest of the world what they will and won’t do when it comes to a pipeline that is currently being built through Eastern Europe.I understand the importance of OIL and our country’s ability to secure vast amounts of it. However , if it is not yours…. you can’t just take it and expect everyone else involved to be scared into submission. Eventually …the pipeline will be completed….however ,the troops needed to guard it will be astronomical due to it’s size and eventually it will be the subject of daily saboutage just like what’s going on in Iraq. One last thing…..If America thinks their main problem is foreign terrorism…….just wait until the troops start coming home and the population have to deal with them and all the issues that they bring back!Good Day Sirs!
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 7:01 pm #566585
junoParticipantGood points there SOUNDBOYZ – one thought on that is how everything has to be approved and politically acceptable these days – very different from what you see happening throughout history where the biggest, baddest kid on the block would take something if they wanted it. Every major power has done this throughout history but now its just seen as ruthless, backward behavior. But still, it isnt right and i think thats the point that Germany, France, etc have right now – but then again, like i said b4, look at the economic relations these countries had and have with Iraq. I dont believe that i am completely right – no one every really is…..just thoughts that are somewhat fact based.
AdSense 336x280September 15, 2004 at 7:19 pm #566588
acheadKeymasterJuno…..I know how the world works and I know how every country has to make a play for their vital interest , however stealing and killing and forcing a people into submission has never worked . Look at our own history…. after a while we refused to be a colonized people and revolted with a revolutionary war. Now …would you call George Washington a terrorist ? no…..But if you were the British , you would.. We were blessed with purple mountains magesty and fruited plains……Some of these countries were only blessed with Oil…that’s it , and when they feel that it is being taken from them without adequate compensation , then you have terrorists who feel like they have nothing to live for except to die for their cause.
AdSense 336x280September 18, 2004 at 3:46 pm #566603
MelParticipantI agree with you, Soundboys. Terrorism (in the English dictionary) means “when the gun is pointed at us.” Us means “anybody other than minorities). Get the point, people?
