[color color=darkred:54p2eyzf]So in all due respectz I thought I should hold the 1st Unofficial Crunk-Off. We’re goin to be mixing & sampling the variety of all of the phatest vocals from the tightest and most fresh crunk & southern new skool tracks out. UGK, Trick Daddy, T.I., Luda, Jermaine Dupri, Pastor Troy, Trillville, Scrappy, Goodie Mob, Outkast, Ciara, Three 6, Ying Yang Twins, No Limit, Lil’ Jon & BMG…….basically if its deep, deep…..it’ll be in her’.[/b:54p2eyzf][/color:54p2eyzf]
[size size=150:54p2eyzf][color color=blue:54p2eyzf]This comp is mainly goin to be about making party trax. But of course u are always open to produce whichever type of track u like. It will be 3 rounds & will last roughly a month. If u sign up u will recieve a confirmation PM soon after – u will need to reply to that PM to be fully entered into the comp. That’s done b/c we’ve had ALOT of ppl sign up but never follow thru in previous comps.[/size:54p2eyzf]

[size size=150:54p2eyzf]Majority goes – the entries will most likely be mashups unless i get enough requests for a remix comp. The competition will start as soon as enough (usually 20-30) ppl have entered[/color:54p2eyzf].[/size:54p2eyzf]

Brady, u can do whatever u want to do to the track in this type of comp. A mashup is a blend of all types of different pieces of music. Go as far with it as u can where u think ppl will still want to listen.

i didnt participate in the last competition so i dont know the full details. i got some question. what will be the layout of the ronds? will you pair us up for individual mathces or do we all go up against eachother each round? and will we have to use a specific acapella or just make sure it is of the ‘crunk’ genre?

u will be paired up & given an acapella to use for your track. u will have about a week to finish it. then voting for that round begins & the winners move on into the next round.

u can use an instrumenta.l or create a beat – just dont sample too many other tracks please. i try not to make the rules too strict b/c i dont want to cramp anyone’s style. so this is really a mix competition like i said – your mix of that vocal, however u wanna do it. Mashups & Remixes are both accepted – whatever way u think your stuff sounds better just keep it crazy in this thing
