Brown PrideParticipantThis is my Crunk-Off Warm-up mix…
I did it to get myself into that crunk mood and for a little intimidation for u suckas
I got a crunk beat by, who other than, Lil Jon “Knocking Headz Off”, and added some DEEP southern rap:
The Lineup:
1st verse: 8 Ball & MJG – You Dont Want Drama
2nd verse: TI – Be Easy
3rd verse: Bun B – 24’s
4th verse: 8 Ball & MJG – Forever (sounds static at times)The Chorus:
I got a part from Three Six Mafia’s “who gives a f*** where u from” where he says “we some southside n*ggaz, and we running this sh*t” and looped it 8 times. on the 4th loop I replaced “running this sh*t” with “make the heat spit” and on the 8th loop I replaced it with “laeve em speechless”, so its a custom chorus.Leave some feedback and let me know if this is crunk enough.

acheadKeymastergood mix bro, the only thing is (in my opinion) the chorus seems a bit too long, i think that if you shortened it the track would sound much better. i like the way your starting to do a custom chorus for ya mixez, keep up the good work, lata.

Brown PrideParticipantThanks scholar,
and, yea, I thought it was too long, too.
But, I tried to go with the beat, cuz if u notice the beat has an instrument go off as soon as the chorus starts and it ends as soon as it the chorus ends, so I think that it just sounds so long, since he keeps repeating the same thing.I appreciate the feedback, scholar. Thanks.

Yeah, i took a sample from the beginning of “N.I.G.G.A” off the “Loyal To The Game” album, i just echoed it once then played whole thing and did that twice, then it became my chorus, glad you liked that track.

acheadKeymasterMy favourite chorus that i made was on my “Westside Hood Hop” mix.
I used about 4 different samples and it all fitted together nice, if you haven’t heard that mix i’ll post it up again for you.
If you have heard it, let me know what you think.AdSense 336x280July 20, 2005 at 3:34 pm #575305
Brown PrideParticipantoh yea, that westcoast hood hop one…..
