KaramaParticipantHey guys! So long story short I’ve been in a bit of a hiatus in regards to much music production. But after ordering some new hardware I figured it’s time to switch DAWs aswell. I’ve always just screwed around on FL Studio since I’ve used it so long and know it very well, and then taken any further editing to Adobe Audition. But I realize this isn’t a common approach. I’m gonna get Pro Tools here fairly soon and want to expand my plugin collection.
So I’m open to any suggestions on good plugins for really anything. After getting a plugin set by Melda Productions I realized how much I missed out by always sticking to stock plugins within my DAWs for years when it came to EQing, expanding, etc. Also, I’m sure I’ll figure it out once I do purchase Pro Tools but what are your opinions on theirs? Other plugins I use frequently that I’m sure would be mentioned are DbBlue’s glitch, and Turnado (Fun one). Again, not looking for anything specific. Just curious to see what people are using so I could give more things a try. Thanks!

HacktivatorParticipantlol it depends on your DAW sometimes…..
I am using:
refX Nexus 2 + all expensions (when im not in the mood of making the sound myself)
Sylenth1 (when I am in the mood of making my own…. best plugin ever for me)
Harmor (I dont understand most of it, so I dont use it much… only once in a while)
tal noisemaker (freebe epic plugin)!!!
T-Force alpha plus (freebe epic plugin)!!!
dvs saxophone (freebe epic plugin)!!
tone2bird (freebe epic plugin)!
basic65 (freebe fine plugin, not so epic)
all fabfilter plugins (they are just 1 level above all. (more the effects, less the synth plugins)
tried Serum…. didnt use it much and deleted it
many people use Massive, but I do not…
sometimes I use Sytrus too
Enjoy
