acheadKeymasterI dont think that u can say who is wack and who not. Its a fact that eminem is a damn good freestyler. All his songs have the flavour of dr.dre – the older songs more than the new ones. 50 has a nice voice so its chillin to listen to him and his songs. The thread is not about who is wack or not the thread is about if MM retires. So stop talkin provocatin bullshit.
MM only wants to get rid of the Slim Shady image – and wants to be Marshall Mathers again. Since he got celebrity MM was in a way two persons. On one hand the poor MM who made it to one of the most popular white rappers and on the other hand Slim Shady, the psycho. I guess he wants to be normal again and maybe act like a role model – for his Hailey but also 4 all other kids, Maybe he underestimated his influence to the kids and now understands what kind off role he gotta play in community.

True,
but then again this could just be a “low pint” for eminem in his career.
Everyone experiences it, and I doubt the fact that he is changing to be a role model. That’s just em’s way of getting the people to buy his sh*t. He changes personalities, cuz I have never seen him make two CD’s in the same mood. Me, as a consumer, would not want to buy a product that contains the same material of something I just bought. So my point is, maybe eminem was just trying to approach the fans differently this time, but came up a bit short. I jsut hope he doesn’t retire like this.

I haven’t heard anything about the retiring thing, but looking at it logically, I seriously doubt he would. He’s too well grooved into the industry to just pull out for no real reason. Next to some of the heavyweights he get’s likened with, he’s still a relative baby in the industry.
———–
50 had a good style back when he was a part of Onyx. Still gangsta by trademark, but he hadn’t sold out yet…
Due to the fact that there aren’t many slowjam/depressing songs that I actually like, I was never a real fan of the majority of Eminem’s style.
Having said that though, and getting past the vulgar attitude, he is a lyrical genius. Nobody can deny that. Just listen to the difference in grammatical styles, and the nuances in ellocution he uses, and he still lays down a track that works every time, no matter how different it sounds the first time you hear it!!
Very few people come close to getting a message out like Eminem does. Of course, for well founded, self-educated lyrical mastery of language and literature, Tupac is still the almighty, followed an extremely close second by Jurassic 5 for their lyrically rhythmical nirvana… hehe…
