Every time i make a mixtape i have to spends days watching the master equalizer go up and down!!! till i get a good level. does any one know or use software that does this for you and if there are any tips for this problem.
help will be much appreciated, propzs in advance!!!

If this is for a track, or a mix alike, use Sound Forge with the Wave Hammer effect. It has a badass compressor/limiter which makes most anything sound a good deal better. It also has a ‘Volume Maximizer’ which boosts the quiet spots a little to give you more consistent sound.

…or try using the normalise feature. This can be found on most software including audictiy (spelling!) which is free. Wavehammer will do the job fine though.

thanks every 1, the last two were good but Fresh 27 i know there are alot of beginer dj’s but i aint so tht was a bit stupid… it wernt to put a mix from my decks to the pc, i was looking for what u said as software for seprate tracks etc.. but thnx every 1
