Dunno seeing as the voltages from battery (14.4v and 12v I think) are the same, the components are the same also. I have an imported Alpine unit that I brought over from America that doesnt have any better sound to it than my mates English version.. apart from costing 200 quid more in the UK.
Are you using a cheap stereo mate? Could be poor D>A convertors.
No, they are being played in stock europeon cars and they won’t work.
Ahhhh yeah alot of standard stereos will not play cd-r’s and hardly ever CD-RW’s. Nearly every aftermarket stereo will play copied cds now.
another possiblity is that the laser diode wavelength is different or the drive is extremely dirty..
Well I could not get them to play in at least 25 different cars. They all played fine in my house sterio just not in europeon cars. American cars it also played fine. Just trying to get a exact answer.
