what is the best way to time stretch your acapella so it is in real time with the beat?
i hear ableton ‘live’ program does it instantly but im not sure how else?

Do a search on the forum for timestretch it might be able to help you more than me.
I use Soundforge for timestretching its simple under the process menu.
I use Live but I would not say it does it for you you gotta work at it to make your aca’s sound good, usually I cut them up into phrases, do any timestretching in Live and then trigger the phrases back in the order I want them from Live.
The best program that i’ve came across that does this is magix music maker 10.

Again and again..Prosoniq Timefactory. You can’t compare the timestretch in LiVE or def not Magic Musicmaker 10
with that. They wrote the timestretch for SX, but this dedicated timestretch (and also pitchchange) program gives a even better result.
