Evening all.
To coincide with my remix posting of Underworld's 'Skym' in the chillout section I thought I'd put up something here more forthright and heavy.

With heavy, heavy bass and subtle harp arrangements I have tried to make a sweet little re-rub of this classic. I hope youse all like. The snare's on the off beat so you'll dance like your drunk. Unless you are already drunk, in which case, good dancing matey.

Hello all,
Crin, the music i make isn't hiphop but i cant say i make specifically house music either. However, the track on the new C Side Trax 12" is very much electro-house, even slightly krautrocky. I reckon you'd like it, have got some tasty responses from the likes of Rob Mello and Pablo Psychonauts, amongst others. It's out at end of april.
If i were you i'd check out the moderator Acapella's work. They're really good disco house tunes. PM him for the details.
Ahoy, Pirate Jake...(jesus, i tried to stop myself writing that. Clearly it aint worked...cause here i go, writing nonsense, moving further and further away from the scene of the pun).
I record music under the name The Slumberjack, the above mentioned forthcoming 12" is under this guise. I was the featured artist on a music blog in January and through that got some contact from University radio people in london. And THAT, apart from blowing dosh in rough trade and fabric is about as much as i've done in your little village.
Glad you like the sounds used. Since the bass is so heavy i just used the lifting harp sound to supply the chord structure and melody. I think the bass could be a bit more organic and such...but F**k it. It's done, the track's gone and so am I.

| Yeah i've listened to some of Acapella's stuff, it's pretty similar to the sort of thing i like to DJ, though the stuff i write is a bit more synthy and electro. |
