New Music Styles

[size size=150:fsb4i4ni]Does anyone else ever think about trying to make new styles of music?

There’s so much to work with in sound and you have to wonder what other music styles are out there that we havent though up yet[/size:fsb4i4ni]

You’ve got a point but there are always going to be music styles that stem from others. Blip Hop, Illbient, Ragga – these are subgenres that have come out over the past decade. But what if you take it a step further and make them even more experimental, maybe even combine some of these subgenres to create a new style. When I’m messing around with software I can make some pretty interesting sounds sometimes but its hard to put them into anything that people would want to listen to. I’ve been wanting to experiment with different musical rythms and chords – like how classical Chinese music I think has a different musical system not based on the octaves.

Maybe they’re just pipe dreams but I think it would be awesome to not only have your own sound but your own type of music too.
