I’m looking at getting a new Mac come September for my Uni course. I will be studying Sound Engineering and also will be undertaking my Pro Tools qualifications. After a Mac for ease of use tbh, I know you don’t have to be constantly updating drivers, unlike PC’s, just plug and go. Worth getting the iMac over a Macbook? Considering you loose out on portability? Basically I want to run programs like Logic, Reason, Ableton, FL and of course, Pro Tools. Can you even run FL on Mac’s?
Thanks.

Yes, you can run programs such as ableton on your mac. As far as iMac compared to Macbook goes, it depends on if you want to move it around or not and the screen size.
bump.
