If you are a house head, then maybe one of the members here can give you some house, trance or techno examples of the same concept. |
There are 2 examples that spring to mind, System F - Out of the Blue, and BBE - Seven Days and One Week. Some are used in the same way a crash cymbal is used, but can be used in any way you desire. They can emphasise or bring some continuity to the mix.
Just as anything, it's down to your imagination on how you use them.
