Hi all
didnt know where to put this TBH so - if its in the wrong section feel free to move.. :-)

I use VDJ for my work, and use the samples quite a bit. It occured to me that my show could probably benefit from some jingles / samples and was wondering where to get them.
' Jingles' is an old word - but I suppose thats what I'm after.
Cheesey stuff like Radio1 uses.
'Welcome to the weekend'
that type of thing.
Googled and searched to no avail...
any thoughts?

someone on another forum did mention a place that does Jingles. And although there ' may' be one or 2useful bits - they are CD's full, so I'd have to copy em to PC etc. and they are Â£20 odd quid a CD. You cant preview any of the jingles so have no idea if they would be ok. So it would be a real gamble.
I guess someone with the time and sound forge etc. would be able to knock such things up easy enuf - But I dont have such things.... :-)

Honestly, I would totally be willing to help you out and make some for you, but I don't have a good mic to work with.

dont know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for but give it a go
or if you upload a voice recording others could work around with it to make you a jingle

Your text to speech editor (located in your pc control editor) works well as a start then mash it up with some effects. The voice is called MICROSOFT SAM and it robotic but I've heard some big production crew use it for effects.
