noiizeParticipantIts all good… I use logic and if reason lets you use a vst in the mixer enviornment you can get other software to use. Normally reason has its own instruments, but check to see if reason can rewire or use other VST instruments… if so you can find some apps for time stretching… check with reason for dealing with audio, they may be some functions that can do what you need…

Angel_Lobo_DJParticipantCubase has got a really nice tool for time stretching

aphid308Participantmy fav method is pretty gritty…
i use Renoise, and trigger the sample on every tick of the pattern then use the sample offset effect (09xx) and interpolate the change between the 2 points in the sample i want to stretch from… this can be done pretty much the same way in modplug tracker which is free… may seem a little weird but it works really well and can let you execute some really different sounding stretchesAdSense 336x280July 22, 2010 at 7:23 pm #681249
