| curently im producing all of my music on a groovebox909, I am in search of an inexpensive or free program that will help me record into a wave format and maybe even allow me to beat match samples before i sample them to 909. thx for help |

Have you tried krystal audio? I can't remember the exact url but it's a really good freeware program. Also for mac there is audacity. Both have a metronome built in but no beat matching functions. Although there is a post on here somewhere about freeware beat matching software!

| audacity is great, Pro Tools free is ,...well itīs Pro Tools, just doesīt run on windows XP. Iīve got an M-box, wich comes with a 32 track version of Pro tools LE, itīs not too expensive and I can recomend it. |
