Behringer BCD3000 or Numark Total Control

Im just starting out and I want to start small and cheap just to get going then upgrade if/when i get good.

I am using Traktor Scratch Pro to mix with on my laptop and I only have one internal soundcard. I also use VDJ occasionally and have just got myself Ableton Live, but havent really learnt how to use it yet. I have thousands of songs and have already created lots of remixes using Sony Acid Pro so all I need now is a controller.

After looking for the cheap options for Traktor the two I have liked the look of are the Behringer BCD3000 and the Numark Total Control. Both look pretty similar in terms of layout and so on but I think i like the look of the behringer slightly more. Looks easier to use in my opnion. Also I dont think the Numark has a built in sound card whereas the BCD3000 does – which I need really for headphones.

I am also gettin a Macbook Pro soon so I will need it to be compatable with that which I know the Behringer is but not sure about the Numark.

Both are pretty simliar prices (£130-160 depending on where you look) so either price is ok. Not really willing to spend too much as I will either want to upgrade after a few months or pack it in all together – either way I dont want to waste my money.

Any one got either or had both or anything and got any advice about which to chose?
