2 bumps I guess
The below are all my personal opinions of course, and dont really mean too much in your growth
I wasnt feelin the long intro bro.
I believe it is important to grab the attention of the listener within the first 10-30 secs, or the possibility they will lose interest raises.
The 59 second intro was too long for me.
I thought I was listening to an ambient, spaced out thing, but once the lyrics kicked in, I remembered I was in the hip hop section.
I'd turn the lyrics up a notch, the beat drowns it out most of the time and seems the main influence is to only focus on the beat.
But the beat...
Man I actually enjoyed listening to all the little tweaks/adds you throw in here n there.
I know nothing about making beats(wish I did), but have a keen ear for sound.
Levels is all I can say. Some sounds overlap/overpower/clash, and would sound better levelled down to release a smoother output.
But youve done a good job in my opinion
Whether it suits these lyrics, I'll leave to the masses, as we all have different perspectives on that matter.
Keep doin what you do....
**PEACE** |
