The other evening I had 2 choices; either wade through the paperwork and process over 350 pending acapella uploads or create a customised 404 page. I did the later.
Over time as any webmaster will tell you, links die and pages vanish. As good as a webmaster is at his job, when you have a forum this big, s**t happens 
Hopefully now with the addition of our new page (giggles) all visitors hitting a page not found will be politely prompted back to the home page.
See what I'm rabbiting on about here.
Anyone still confused to hell can have their minds put to rest by clicking here and read good ol' WikiPedia's explanation.
